Proxima

Proxima – the Student Club of the University of Warsaw, located in Ochota at 99A Żwirki i Wigury Street, is a place with a long tradition of bringing together students and music enthusiasts. It also hosts Hard Zone events such as Rock Party, Tool Night, Seattle Night, and Hard Zone Tribute, which attract fans of heavier genres including rock, metal, grunge, and more. For several years now, a Rock/Metal-themed New Year’s Eve party has also been organized here.

The club has secured an important place on the concert map for many bands. Proxima’s stage has featured leading Polish rock artists (KULT, T.Love, Republika, TSA, Perfect), many internationally acclaimed stars (e.g., Capleton, Eagles of Death Metal, Futureheads, The Stranglers), as well as young Polish performers just entering the music scene.

Proxima has become a permanent part of recurring tours such as Punky Reggae Live and the Abracadabra Gothic Tour by Closterkeller.
