Castle Party Festival

Castle Party is a renowned dark-independent / gothic festival held in the town of Bolków, centred around its medieval castle. Since the 1990s it has grown from a small gathering into one of Europe’s most important events for gothic rock, darkwave, industrial, EBM and related subcultures. Concerts take place on castle stages and additional venues in town, complemented by club afterparties, gothic fashion stands, themed meetings and photo sessions. The event attracts a strongly international crowd from Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and beyond, many of whom treat it as an annual pilgrimage. Its unique atmosphere – historic castle walls, black-clad audience and underground aesthetics – distinguishes it sharply from mainstream summer festivals.
